Her approach has been to find inventive means to ‘play’ whilst surreptitiously sneaking teaching into the games. This works so well that our daughter is officially catching up on her education. Today the direct feedback from the kid was ‘That was fun!’ and ‘I liked the drawing and texting!’ even though the lesson was on-line. Amazing! If only we parents could command the same interest and attention. Anyway, Verity comes highly recommended especially if your kid needs a different approach to learning. She is professional, but great fun and incredibly gifted in nurturing and drawing out strengths in my children both academically and interpersonally. They both had such low self esteem about their academic abilities before the tutoring started, but that has improved for both of them significantly. They are 12 and 9.
I couldn’t recommend Brightheart highly enough. It is a very good company to deal with on multiple levels and there is always somebody readily available on the phone in their offices if you need to discuss anything. read less

We had Bright Heart for 4 months and they turned a boy who wasn’t very confident in his work, into a boy who is now very confident and who worked hard with Ryan, Emily and Haris. All three tutors covered all of our Son’s GCSE subjects. I believe that my Son has achieved more by being tutored by Bright Heart. He felt confident in his preparation of his exams and as a result didn’t leave any question unanswered in his exam papers. In the past he would’ve left the question and wouldn’t have tried. John has been amazing with our little boy who has development delays and sensory processing issues. He was so patient and understanding with a little boys who’s confidence was broken and he was refusing to do any writing, homework was a battle until John came on the scene. He managed to build confidence and make this little man see that it’s ok to be different. After just 4 sessions the impact was plain to see, our son started writing again and his teachers started to send positive feedback home but most important he had grown in confidence and he was proud of himself.
